The Sorn Foundation The Sorn Foundation (Equality and Education for women and children) is an international charity organization based in Cambodia.

To empower women and children living in rural Cambodia through education and community development to end the cycle of poverty and social exclusion endured by many women and children. It was established to promote the total empowerment and development of women and children in rural Cambodia to escape poverty by delivering education, basic skills and community development programmes. ation is an independent charity non-profit organization which seeks to reduce the high levels of Violence Against Women (VAW) in Cambodia, by empowering the women and children with grass roots education and training programmes such as Khmer and English education packages, basic skills, women's rights and parenting. We will organize sustainable living programmes, growing vegetables, and raising livestock. We will also operate a community enterprise hub providing mentoring and support for personal and business development. The Sorn Foundation is directed by Nicola Clements and Somphors Sorn with the aim of empowering women and children living within Rural Cambodia.

A wonderful hands-on lesson in science, teamwork, problem-solving, and healthy food πŸ’š They learned how to work together, solve problems, and care for the environment while creating something they can be proud of. This project is ongoing πŸ₯°

She can no longer walk, and her world had become quiet and lonely.
With love and care, they cleaned her home and the surrounding area, bringing warmth, laughter, and comfort to her day. 🌼

🦷✨ This Month is All About Dental Hygiene! ✨🦷
Our little learners are getting hands-on with healthy habits! The children have been visiting the dentist to check their teeth, and back at school, they’re practicing brushing correctly using giant laminated teeth with colorful β€œplaque” splashesβ€”brushing off all the germs while having fun!
Early dental care is so important, and we’re proud to see our kids brushing daily at school and learning the skills that will keep their smiles bright for life. πŸ˜πŸ’™

What a fantastic women’s group we had yesterday at The Sorn Foundation.
We were honoured to welcome our guest speaker, Sang Sok Serey, who helped lead discussions on important topics affecting women and families. Experiences were shared openly, and the women supported one another in a safe and welcoming space.
Alongside good food and donated clothes, there was something even more meaningful β€” a deep sense of connection and a real willingness among the women to support each other.
