Given a chance to look, Arise and Shine could pass for just another Community Based Organization , but when you get closer you find a home where persons with disabilities learn new skills, grow together and challenge what many thought wasn't possible, stitching away at their creativity, threading through buttons as colorful as their dreams, while relooking at possibility.​

The group is today producing reusable diapers , serving the community affordably while charting a pathway to financial independence.

Kithyoko Health Centre in Machakos County,
these spaces may look quiet but marking great
shifts in healthcare access .​

Patients who long had to navigate distances for
care in strained facilities now know wards that
offer treatment in comfort, as for the health
workers, a normal day offers room to restore
dignity to the simple act of seeking and giving
care.

you always hope for a seamless experience, in a
comfortable space and warm personnel who seem to come with magic to make it all better.

This starts when a facility is equipped to do so.​

Learning at Wumingu Technical and Vocational College has taken an immersive, practical direction where students can now apply the skills taught in carpentry, metalwork, electronics and construction with access to assorted tools to bring lessons to life. ​

Once confined to textbooks and classroom explanations is now unfolding in workshops, shaped by their own hands and growing confidence.

What if....​

For years now, students at Maryland Mixed Secondary School have begun their mornings not with books, but buckets, in what seems like a short dash to the river in search of water, but a task that carries the weight of this essential commodity on one hand and lost time on their shoulders.​

Today, clean, reliable water flows right within the school grounds. No more river treks. No more exhaustion before lessons even begin. ​

Just ease, and time returned to what truly matters.​ A long-held dream has finally been made real.

For Shukurani Lokichoggio and Kikozi Women Groups, these gatherings are more than a social entry in the week ..because somewhere between the laughter, stories and shared wisdom, transformation quietly is quietly birthed. ​
