The Wamzedu Botanical Garden in Kwenjalo Village, Sagalla Location, is an initiative of the Kishamba Community Improvement Organization (KCIO). The project is central to the conservation and regeneration of threatened endemic medicinal tree species, notably the African Cherry (Prunus africana), East African Greenheart (Warburgia ugandensis), and Wild Coffee (Coffea fadenii).

In addition, discussions focused on potential linkages to market opportunities through the development of ethno-tourism, as well as strategic collaborations with the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) to support ecological surveys, and with Nature Kenya – The East Africa Natural History Society (EANHS) to strengthen conservation partnerships.
