Today, the Taita Taveta Professionals Welfare & Development Initiative held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Panlis Resort, bringing together a diverse team of professionals from various sectors across the county.

The AGM provided an important platform to reflect on our collective progress, assess the impact of ongoing initiatives, and deliberate on new projects aimed at advancing professional development, welfare support, and community-centered growth. The discussions were insightful, strategic, and aligned with our shared vision for a more empowered workforce in Taita Taveta.

We were privileged to be joined by the Wundanyi MP Hon. Danson Mwashako, whose contribution underscored the value of partnership between leadership and the professional community in driving meaningful development.

Moving forward, we remain committed to strengthening collaboration, championing professional advancement, and supporting initiatives that uplift our communities.

Together, we will continue building a dynamic and impactful professional network that drives sustainable progress for Taita Taveta County.

5th Annual General Meeting of the Taita Taveta Health Professionals Welfare Development Initiative

We are proud to have officially held our 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Green Park Hotel, Taveta. The event was graced by H.E. Governor Andrew Mwadime, who not only officially launched the meeting but also joined the Welfare as a member, showcasing his dedication to improving healthcare in Taita Taveta County.

In his address, the Governor applauded the Welfare for its exceptional contributions to healthcare and welfare development across the county. His sentiments were echoed by CEC for Health and Sanitation, Hon. Gifton Mkaya, who highlighted the transformative role of health professionals in driving positive change and fostering community well-being.

The AGM witnessed an impressive turnout, reflecting the commitment and unity of our members. Following the proceedings, we visited Naima Children’s Orphanage and Rescue Center, where we spent valuable time engaging with the children. This impactful visit was a fitting way to close the year, reinforcing our commitment to making a difference beyond the health sector.

As we wrap up another successful year, we remain steadfast in our mission to advance the welfare of health professionals while supporting the broader community. We look forward to continuing this journey of growth and impact in the coming year.
