🦁 Chester Lions Club Member Spotlight: Bill Vierbuchen 🦁
Meet Bill Vierbuchen, one of our newer Chester Lions Club members who joined just 18 months ago, but has already made a big impact!
Bill first connected with the Lions after learning about our donation to Camp Nejeda, a camp dedicated to children living with diabetes. Soon after meeting some of our members, he knew this was an organization he wanted to be a part of. “The community needs the Lions Club,” he says simply.
For Bill, the best part of being a Lion is the camaraderie among members, working side by side to make Chester a better place. One event that stands out to him is our annual Oktoberfest Weekend, a tradition that has become part of the fabric of Chester and one of the many ways the Lions bring people together.
When asked how the Lions help the community, Bill notes both funding for important causes and the meaningful events we provide, like diabetes screenings, Lunch with Santa, and supporting Homeless Solutions.
His advice for anyone thinking about joining?
“It’s a good group of people doing good things in a great community.”
