(SIDIPEG) Siaya Disabled Peoples Group is a Network Community Based Organization that was registered in Kenya on 16th May 2004 by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development, Registration Certificate No.KRM/1652004/2916. The membership comprises individual members, Disabled Persons Organizations (DPO’s) and associate members (Non- Disabled) as well as parents / caregivers of persons wi

th disabilities. We are authorized to operate within Siaya County and its environs. The Organization has a broad based structure and Board of Directors with oversight responsibilities to give guidance and direction aimed at realization of its mandate through the Management Committee headed by the co-ordinator. Our sheltered training and production workshops are located along the Siaya – Nyadorera main road opposite Siaya Agricultural Training Centre (ATC).

​Are you a young woman in Siaya looking to learn new skills and start your own business?
​The Siaya Disabled People's Organization is partnering with Powered By People to offer a free training program focused on practical skills like weaving and basketry.
​This is your chance to gain valuable skills that can help you become financially independent and creative!
​What you need to know:
​Who: Young women from Siaya County 18-35 years old
​What: Free training in weaving, and basketry .
​When: The training runs from September 25th to October 2nd.
​Where: Siaya Disability Workshops, next to Kitumoto near Bondo Junction, Siaya.
