During these 16 days, we are focusing on educating the community about Gender-Based Violence (GBV)— addressing both women who may be perpetrators and men who may also fall victim.

Let’s raise awareness, promote respect, and stand for justice for all.
GBV has no gender — let’s speak out, support one another, and break the silence.

Impact for Change Initiative in collaboration with various community groups proudly took part in the Kahawa Wendani Community Clean-Up Exercise — a successful and impactful event!

The clean-up was graced by key leaders, including the County Environment CEC Mr. Kuria, Sub-County Municipal Manager, Environment Officer, our DCC (Guest of Honour), the OCS, and area Chief.

Thanks to the collective efforts, blocked drainages were cleared, and road signs were installed to help ease traffic flow within the ward.

As the lead organisation for this initiative, Impact for Change Initiative extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who showed up, got involved, and contributed to real, visible change.

Together, we made an impact. Together, we move forward!

We were honored to be joined by fellow youth and special groups from the Kenyatta University students body l, for the Safe Space Summit at Kahawa Wendani Social Hall.

Together, we created an open, empowering space to talk about mental health, healing, and collective action. 💚

Sexual Assault Awareness

Today, Impact for Change Initiative successfully held a powerful Sexual Assault Awareness event at the Kahawa Wendani Social Hall, in partnership with Forty-Five Community Initiative and the Office of the MCA Kahawa Wendani.

We appreciate all survivors, speakers, and community members who showed up and stood together in support and solidarity.
