Day by day, paint by paint, book by book—we’re shaping a small library for kids in Mathare. It’s not finished yet, but the vision is clear: a safe space where curiosity is nurtured, imaginations are sparked, and children can dream beyond their circumstances.

Every step forward matters. Every donated book, every helping hand, every moment spent building brings us closer to a future where access to knowledge is not a privilege, but a right.

✨ We’re Ready to Bounce Back — Coding for Kids in Mathare ✨

For a season, we had to pause our free computer and coding classes for kids in Mathare slums. But our vision never stopped.

Through the generous support of LG East Africa, we were able to set up a fully furnished computer lab worth USD 7,750 right in the heart of the slum in 2022 — creating a safe, inclusive space where children could learn basic computing and coding skills at no cost.

Our model has always been simple and impactful:

📚 School-time access for community schools and students
🕒 Afterschool access for children from the wider community

With the rollout of Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) by the Ministry of Education, the relevance and feasibility of this program has never been clearer.

Yet the reality remains — many children in the slums never get the chance to go to school, missing out on foundational digital skills that shape future opportunities.

Alongside our sports, life skills, and arts programs, we are now planning to restart our afterschool coding classes after a one-year break caused largely by funding constraints.

We are calling on:

🏢 Corporate organizations (as part of CSR initiatives)

🌍 Development partners and well-wishers

to partner with us and help make this vision sustainable.
