We Mercy Foundation Kenya are deeply saddened by the tragic fire at Utumishi Girls Academy. Our hearts and prayers are with the families who have lost their daughters, the students who were injured, and everyone affected by this painful incident.
Every child deserves safety, protection, and care. As an organization that values children’s wellbeing, we stand in solidarity with the school community during this difficult time.

We continue to walk into our communities to meet, engage, and encourage our able women. Through our flexible programs, we are bringing hope, support, and empowerment where it is needed most.

Our week at Brilliant Angels Academy came to a successful close.
We held a productive meeting with the Headteacher, where we laid a strong foundation for collaboration with Mercy Foundation Kenya. Together, we are committed to continuing support for our girls during this critical season where many are facing increased vulnerability to challenges such as emotional stress, abuse, and other risks affecting their wellbeing.
As a community, we remain dedicated to protection, empowerment, and hope for every girl.
