SERMON: OPEN HEAVEN & DIVINE HELP FROM HEAVEN
‎Key Scripture
‎Isaiah 64:1 –
‎“Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down!”
‎INTRODUCTION
‎An open heaven means a season where God is actively involved in the affairs of His people. It is a time when prayers are answered, help is released, favor speaks, and divine intervention becomes visible.
‎Many people are struggling not because God is not willing, but because heaven must open for earthly situations to change.
‎1. WHAT IS AN OPEN HEAVEN?
‎An open heaven is when there is no barrier between God and man.
‎📖 John 1:51
‎“You will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
‎📖 Ezekiel 1:1
‎“The heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.”
‎🔑 When heaven opens:
‎Revelation flows
‎Angelic assistance is released
‎Divine direction is given
‎2. DIVINE HELP COMES FROM HEAVEN
‎Divine help is supernatural assistance beyond human ability.

‎“May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.”

Next I have a cry for help: A family behind in desperation. Recently, a strong and devoted widow being the breadwinner for her family , suddenly passed away leaving behind seven children who are now facing unimaginable hardship. Her sudden death has not only left them heartbroken but also vulnerable. With no one to provide for their basic needs, these children are starving, going days without food. There is no stable source of income, no means to cover school fees and barely any support from extended family or community. Among the children is Benson , the second last in the family who walks a long distance to school each day. Thanks to a few generous hands we were able to provide a bicycle to ease one burden. Apostal Edwin Kapyou ,I stepped in where I can, offering comfort, guidance and the occasional support. But the need is simply great for one person to bear alone. The family needs urgently: food supplies, school fees for 7 children, and household supports. We are appealing to kind-hearted individuals, churches and other organizations to come on board and be the love support this family needs. Yes lets bring a hope in this time of darkness. this was onIn the heart of Kenya, the New Hope in Christ Ministry has continued to shine as a beacon of compassion and service. One of the most pressing needs we have seen is among vulnerable children—especially orphans—who walk long distances, sometimes two to three miles each day, just to get to school.

These children carry not only their books but also the weight of their circumstances, pushing forward with determination because they believe education is their doorway to a brighter future.

Recently, something wonderful happened. Two kind-hearted friends stepped in with love and generosity, donating funds to purchase three bicycles for some of these children. The gift of these bicycles has transformed their daily journey—cutting down hours of walking into minutes of riding. What once seemed like an endless road is now a smoother, faster, and more hopeful ride toward opportunity.

This act of kindness reminds us of the power of working together. Just a small contribution can change the life of a child forever.

We at New Hope in Christ Kenya are inviting anyone who feels led to join us in this mission. Whether through donating a bicycle, providing school supplies, or supporting in any way possible, you can be part of bringing hope and dignity to the lives of these precious children.
