12 SILENT BATTLES WIDOWS FIGHT THAT NO ONE SEES
I decided this month when Women and mothers are celebrated to focus on the most neglected or stigmatized persons on the planet earth - the widows and widowers.
You might be wondering why - just letting you know that every of these write-ups posted here goes to every platform where there people helped by God gather.
And my findings is that every family has a widow or widower which makes these people not just outcasts but part of us - our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts uncles - even our children. So not making them special or giving them back their life is devilish and inhumane.
Widowhood is more than losing a spouse. It is learning to fight battles that most people never notice. These person fight battles more than most people can ever survive or imagine, yet they are the most discriminated against. Even amongst women of the same gender, they are treated as trash - something worth nothing.
Here are 12 Silent battles widows fight that no one sees or cares to see.
1. Fighting loneliness at night
The silence after the children sleep can be the hardest part of the day.
2. Carrying the weight of two parents
Being both mother and father to the children is a responsibility many widows carry quietly.
3. Financial pressure
Trying to provide, budget, and secure the future alone can feel overwhelming.
4. Making difficult decisions alone
There is no partner to discuss major life choices with anymore.
5. Facing social judgment
Some people suddenly treat widows differently or unfairly.
6. Protecting their children from emotional pain
Widows often hide their own tears to keep their children strong.
7. Starting life over
Rebuilding a life, career, or business after loss takes courage.
8. Dealing with painful memories
Simple things — places, songs, or dates — can reopen deep wounds.
9. Losing support after the funeral
Many supporters disappear once the mourning period ends.
10. Fighting fear about the future
Questions about tomorrow can create silent anxiety.
11. Rebuilding self-worth
Some widows struggle with confidence after being treated unfairly.
12. Staying strong when they feel weak
Many widows carry strength on the outside while hurting deeply inside.
If you know a widow, be kind.
Some of the strongest women you see
are fighting the quietest battles.
Yet they wake up strong for their responsibilities boldfaced.
God bless every widow/ Widower INDEED
