Turning Waste into Opportunity – SEP Circular Briquette Initiative
Yesterday, SEP hosted a Red Cross team for a field visit to assess our innovative circular briquette economy. The visit is part of an ongoing three-day boot camp on agricultural waste management, where SEP is actively participating and contributing practical solutions. During the engagement, we showcased how agricultural waste is transformed into eco-friendly briquettes, a sustainable alternative to traditional fuels that helps:
• Reduce environmental pollution
• Promote clean and affordable energy
• Create income-generating opportunities for the community
• Support sustainable livelihoods
This initiative reflects our commitment to climate-smart solutions that not only protect the environment but also empower communities economically.
At SEP, we believe that waste is not waste, it’s an opportunity for innovation, sustainability, and growth.
