| Celebrating Ministry Partnership and Faithful Support
Today we celebrate Pastor Sandanaraj Moses, a valued ministry friend and partner of TWR Kenya and TWR India.
Twelve years ago, while on a mission trip in Kenya together with his family, Pastor Sandanaraj paid us a memorable courtesy visit. A moment that reflected a shared passion for seeing lives transformed through the Gospel.

As TWR K- Trans World Radio Kenya celebrates 50 years of ministry, we also celebrate friends, supporters, listeners, prayer warriors and partners like Pastor Sandanaraj. Through your support, prayers, and commitment, the impact of Trans World Radio has continued reaching people in some of the most remote and unreached corners of the world.

Thank you for standing with us in the mission. The Word continues to go forth, and the journey continues.

From a passionate young voice in Nairobi’s vibrant fellowships to becoming the second Director of TWR K- Trans World Radio Kenya , Rev. Kwame Rubadiri’s journey is woven deeply into the story of our ministry.

As TWR Kenya continued to grow under the leadership of the late Rev. Reverend Stephen Boakye Yiadom and Pastor David Mungai the ministry expanded rapidly with more programs, a growing vision, and a strong burden to reach young people. Together with Chris Basalirwa, Rev. Kwame brought fresh energy, creativity, and a powerful youthful flavor that helped shape the future of Christian broadcasting in Kenya.

Rev. Kwame later became the second Director of Trans World Radio Kenya, taking over from our founder, the late Rev. Steven Yiadom following his appointment as TWR Africa Ministry Director.

What a wonderful way to begin our 50th Anniversary celebrations as we receive anniversary greetings from Rev. Kwame Rubadiri, now serving as Head of Digital Ministry at Christ Is The Answer Ministries.

AI Everything Kenya X GITEX Kenya 2026
As AI continues transforming industries across the world, broadcasting is also entering a new era of innovation. From enhanced camera technologies and intelligent audio recorders to AI-powered editing, automated transcription, real-time translation, and smarter conferencing tools that make listener engagement easier and more interactive, the future of media is rapidly evolving.

AI is making high-quality audiovisual production more accessible, improving storytelling, strengthening audience connections, and creating new possibilities for content creation and distribution. The conversation is no longer about whether AI will impact broadcasting, it's already happening.

It was a great experience for Trans World Radio Kenya to be part of AI Everything Kenya X GITEX Kenya where innovators, policymakers, and technology leaders gathered to shape conversations around the future of AI in Africa.

As AI continues touching every sector from healthcare and education to agriculture, banking, and media , we are excited to explore how these technologies can support our mission of reaching more people with impactful Devotional and Developmental content.

Testimony Tuesday | One encounter. One decision. Generations changed.

Around 1982, in Voi, during a mission led by the late Rev. Steven, founder of TWR Kenya, alongside Pastor Mungai, a young girl named Daisy stood among the crowd. At the time, she was simply selling roasted maize.

But that day, something changed.

The message she heard stirred something deep within her heart. She made a life-changing decision, to follow God and dedicate her life to serving Him. She later journeyed to Nairobi with the pastors, not knowing that her “yes” would impact countless lives.

Years later, Auntie Daisy would serve faithfully in children's ministry, pouring into young hearts and shaping futures. One of those young lives she mentored was Rev. Teresia Muthama.

Today, Rev. Teressia carries a testimony of transformed purpose because someone chose to answer God’s call.

A girl selling maize became a vessel of impact. One life touched… many lives transformed.

Watch this powerful testimony and see how God uses ordinary moments to write extraordinary stories. Na Neno Litaendelea

We are proud to celebrate another major milestone for Trans World Radio Kenya's SIFA FM as we retained the Best Radio Production Award at the prestigious Annual Media Excellence Awards organized by the Media Council of Kenya.

A huge congratulations to Michael Kwoba for being named Best Radio Producer, reaffirming our continued commitment to excellence in journalism, storytelling, and radio production.

The award-winning feature, submitted as a joint entry alongside Samuel Geno and Suzanne Mbodze, explored the intersection of culture, climate science, and AI technology in climate reporting in Marsabit County through a partnership with BBC Media Action Kenya. The story highlighted how emerging AI technologies can strengthen climate reporting while preserving the cultural realities and lived experiences of communities most affected by climate change.

This achievement is a testament to the power of partnership, teamwork, innovation, and dedication. It reflects the importance of telling impactful African stories with accuracy, depth, and purpose.

As Michael Kwoba shared:
“This award is a result of partnership, teamwork, and dedication. Marsabit County is a region where climate reporting and culture are very serious matters, and with the emergence of AI technology, it plays a key role in climate reporting. We thank BBC Media Action for the support in ensuring we tell the most impactful stories.”

We also celebrate the continued excellence within our productions.

🏆 Last year, Geoffrey Otieno won the award through a joint entry with Suzanne Mbodze.
👏 This year, Suzanne Mbodze also emerged Runner-Up in the Tourism Reporting Category.

Speaking during the awards ceremony as the Chief Guest, Hon. Rebecca Miano - EGH, the Cabinet Secretary - Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife - Kenya, emphasized the critical role of the media in fact-checking during the AI era, noting that while AI enhances efficiency and capacity, it can never replace the responsibility and integrity required in news gathering and dissemination.
