Meet one of our very special boys Ibrahim Muchai a.ka Ibraimo Konate.
Ibrahim was born and raised in Kiserian.
He came from a dysfunctional family which led him to go and start living in the streets (starting in Kiserian then Ngong town) at the tender age of 8 years.
He was involved in begging and collecting scrap metal for survival.
His turning point was in October 2015 when one of our old friends Namachanja Khapoya,who was one then Volunteer Children Officers in Ngong Met the boy in the street while he was begging for food.

He gave his ears to the boy and after kindly listened to his touching story,Edwin rescued the boy and requested for a placement at our centre.
Ibrahim was well received at our centre and welcomed to be part of our family.
It's through the same love,care and mentorship that Ibrahim who had stopped going to for about 8 months,started going to school at At Agape Hope Center in Dagoretti in Standard 2.

Two years later, He was transferred to Ngong Town where is studied up to Standard 7 when he got sponsored at Vine Garden Academy,Ngong.
He then sat for his KCPE in the year 2020 and Scored 368 Marks out of 500 which led him to secure a place at Kenyatta High School Mahiga Boys in Nyeri as sponsored him.
Ibrahim successfully completed his High School education in November 2024 and scored a C+.

His transformation,high discipline and hard work at both school and home, has led him to recently join Thika School of Medical and Healthy Science to undertake a 2 years Diploma course in Medical Engineering.

We are so proud of Ibrahim for his great achievements in education so far as we wish him a successful journey at Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences in Thika.

Global Hope Family would like to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who joined us for the Global Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation Center relocation and thanksgiving celebration on Sunday 26th October 2025.

Your presence, prayers, and encouragement made the day truly special. To all who helped in planning, preparing, and making everything come together so beautifully, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To our partners, churches, volunteers, and friends who have walked with us from our days in Zambia to our new home here in Upper Matasia, your support means more than words can express. You have stood with us through every season, and your love continues to strengthen our mission.

As we begin this new chapter, may this home remain a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for many.
