Hon Samuel Tunai the Captain of Unity, Decency, and Mature Politics.
The 1st Governor Narok county stands not just as a leader, but as a captain, entrusted with a responsibility to guide, to listen, and to unite. Our journey as a Community has never been easy, but it has always been defined by our resilience, our shared hopes, and our belief that tomorrow can be better than today.
At this moment in our history, what we need most is unity. Not unity of convenience, but unity of purpose. A unity that rises above tribe, region, clan, age Set,religion, and political affiliation. Because when we are divided, we weaken our future; but when we stand together, we unlock our full strength as a Community . Let us reject the politics of division and embrace the power of togetherness.
We need to focus on building bridges where others have built walls. We need to work with all leaders, across party lines and across communities, because progress does not belong to one side. It belongs to all of us.
We need decency in leadership. Our politics must reflect our values. Respect, integrity, humility, and honesty must not be optional, they must be the foundation. Leadership is not about insults, arrogance, or empty promises. It is about service. It is about accountability. It is about putting the needs of the people above personal ambition.
Dignity must be restored in how we speak, how we act, and how we treat one another. Our children are watching. Let us give them a politics they can be proud of, not one they must apologize for.
Mature politics, politics that is issue-based, solution-driven, and forward-looking. The challenges facing our people are real: unemployment, the cost of living, access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for our youth. These are not problems to be shouted about; they are problems to be solved.
Mature politics means we debate ideas, not attack personalities. It means we prioritize development over drama, and results over rhetoric. It means we measure success not by how loud we speak, but by how many lives we improve.
We must raise and unite as a community, A Maasai can also be a president of the Republican of Kenya
