Background
Our organization was founded in 2018 by a group of concerned christian women, looking to help individuals affected by poverty. We feel that women’s rights of poor people are neglected by society and this can lead to discrimination in many ways, making their lives unnecessarily difficult. Some of the side effects of this include:
· Harmful cultural practices such as FGM
· Lack of gender sensitivity in policy making in both local and national levels of governance.
