Hands of Relief is a proactive and responsive socio-economic empowering and relief giving oriented organization, that tries to make a positive and sustainable difference in the lives of the in-need and vulnerable. The Hands of Relief story began way back when our founder started noticing the surrounding ills in society which were worrying, and the facts about what was not right in society which we
re staggeringly scary. But the worst part of the story for the founder was that there was very little he could do to change any of that, and for a long time he did what most of us do till now... We turn our heads in despair and walk away. The trend never really changed for a while until one day in the year 2013 he encountered a kindergarten going kid that would change the course and conviction of his life forever. “Please buy some fries for me” These words from a smiling, charming, cute adorable eyed, but an obviously hungry little girl was the final persuasion to the founder that this was the calling...And thus HANDS OF RELIEF was born. The conviction struck that he could share his pair of hands and slowly by slowly he would do the little he could and that would make a difference in a person’s existence though negligible and insignificant it would seem. And since then, what started as a personal initiative is fast growing to be a movement where through the sharing of many pairs of hands through volunteerism and donations, many lives have been touched and positively changed for the better. We hope that this humble initiative will inspire you to join us and little by little let us make the lives of the least of us a little bit better one step at a time
