I like mixing pest-repelling plants into the garden because even small changes can help tip things in your favor 🌼
🌿 Basil, mint, and rosemary are some of my favorite plants to tuck near beds and pots
🧄 Garlic is one I always think is worth growing for more than one reason
🧡 Marigolds and nasturtiums add color and can be useful too
🐝 I still try to keep balance in mind, because not every bug in the garden is a bad one
For me, prevention always works better than waiting for a big pest problem.

This simple homemade fertilizer recipe is a nice way to use up a few kitchen scraps, and I like that it gives plants a gentle feed without anything complicated 🌿
☕ The coffee grounds, eggshells, and banana peels all go in together for one mix
🥚 I’d still use it lightly, especially on plants that are already doing well
🍌 I always think homemade recipes work best as a little boost, not something to pour on all the time
💧 Diluting it well is the part I would not skip
🪴 I like trying a mix like this on one or two plants first
🌱 For me, gentle and occasional usually works best with DIY feeds
It is an easy recipe to make, and sometimes simple is all you need.
