FaWS is a non profit making organisation that deals with health issues at the community.

Its a pleasure joining other Stakeholders of TB women Leaders,as we celebrate growth,and also witnessed the Class of TB Women leaders Cohort 2026.
Its true a Woman with TB in the community carries more than the disease.The woman carries fear of blame,abandonment,unpaid burden of being a caregiver etc.
Time to intergrate TB,Malaria and HIV in all programming not forgetting to empower Communities.
When Women Lead,Change Happens.

Member groups participated in a mentorship session focused on monitoring program management and procedures.The session strengthened the understanding on effective program implementation,monitoring processes,compliance, documentation and adherance to established procedures to improve program quality not forgetting Data protection at all stages of Implementation.

As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen Systems ,Policies and Accountability ,today we took time develop a project management handbook and also review the stakeholder matrix.This will provide a structured guide for effective project planning ,implementation, monitoring/Evaluation,documentation, reporting and learning,to ensure that projects are in line with organizational goals and are aligned to the Mission and Vision.

The board members continue with the development of strategic plan 2026-2031. The session provides an opportunity to review priorities, refine strategic objectives,align key activities and establish a clear roadmap that will guide the organization's growth and impact in the coming years.

Effective policies and clear guidelines are essential to building accountable,safe and well managed organization.Our policy review process focused on three key areas:Human resource policy,PSEAH policy,and asset managment.The discussions provided an opportunity to strengthen policies clarify responsibilities and ensure that our organizational practices remain effective and responsive to the needs of our people and programs.

Quartely board meeting held today involved sensitization of reviewed parts on the different manuals that will help enhance effective program implementation.The revision of existing Board committees membership to enhance oversight and efficiency,signing of completed organizational documents.Upcoming engaments at the County and different partners were also disussed.

Calling upon all our members on the ground from different subcounties,note the dates,join in and ensure the voice of our Community is heard and included in the ADP.

Member groups were today sensitized and Coached aimed at strengthening accountability and promoting the efficient use of resources.The session provided an opportunity to enhance member understanding of resource managment, accountability and good organizational practices.
