Today, Team Climate Change Naivasha was honored to join the Kenya Wildlife Service at the Mt. Longonot KWS vicinity for a successful tree-growing initiative aimed at strengthening environmental conservation and restoring our ecosystem.

We sincerely thank all who graced the occasion and made the exercise impactful, including ACC Karani Kinyua (Mai Mahiu), Mt. Longonot Warden Abdinoor Jirma, Longonot Township Senior School, Longonot Township Primary School, Naivasha Technical and Vocational College, and Madam Jaclyn Mutweri, Research Scientist at WRTI.

Your participation demonstrates the power of collective action in protecting our environment.

Team Climate Change Naivasha remains fully committed to championing environmental conservation, tree growing, and climate action initiatives for a greener and more sustainable future.

Team Climate Change Naivasha (TCCN) was proud to be part of the HP4Youth Café held today. We sincerely thank the organizers for creating such a powerful platform that brings young people together for real conversations, empowerment, and access to vital social health support.

This initiative highlights the critical role of youth engagement in driving positive change within our communities. By equipping young people with knowledge, life skills, and opportunities, we are collectively building a more informed, resilient, and sustainable society.

As TCCN, we remain fully committed to supporting and participating in initiatives like this that promote environmental conservation, social well-being, and sustainable development. 🌱 Team Climate Change Naivasha Update🌱

During the International Day of Forests 2026, we planted 11,000 trees across different institutions.

Today, at Naivasha Medium Prison, together with the PS for Correctional Services and other stakeholders, we were honoured to grow over 4,000 more trees, surpassing our 15,000 target with support by Kengen 🎉

In attendance were representatives from the Office of the Commissioner General of Prisons, Regional Commander, County Government Nakuru, Probation Office, Deputy County Commissioner, Officers in Charge (Main, Medium & Women Prisons), and Rotaract Club of Naivasha.

🌍 Together, we are growing a greener Naivasha.

🌿💧International Day of Forests & World Water Day 2026💧🌿

On behalf of Team Climate Change Naivasha,we extend our gratitude to stakeholders, partners, and the entire Naivasha community who made yesterday's event a success.

We thank the County Government of Nakuru, led by the Deputy Governor (Guest of Honor), and the CECM for Environment with his entire Team, for their collaboration.

We also deeply appreciate all our partners and stakeholders who showed up, supported, and walked with us in marking these two events.

Through collective effort, we successfully planted over 4,000 trees at Naivasha Medium Prison & 7430 in schools a significant step towards ecosystem restoration and a greener future for Naivasha a true reflection of what partnerships and community action can deliver.

As Team Climate Change Naivasha, we remain committed to working with all stakeholders to scale up impact and drive sustainable environmental initiatives.
