Partnership building is at the heart of our work as a community-based organisation.
This week, we held consultative meetings with the NSDCC and The Root Cause Kenya, two important partners in advancing health and wellbeing across Nyandarua County.
Our discussions focused on strengthening interventions to address the of teenage pregnancy, new HIV infections and gender-based violence, alongside non-communicable diseases.
We explored opportunities to strengthen , health awareness, evidence-based advocacy and to ensure that community voices and priorities are reflected in health decision-making.
At ACDC, we believe meaningful and sustainable change is built through strong partnerships, shared knowledge and collective action. Together, we continue working towards healthier, safer and more empowered communities across Nyandarua County.

As an organisation, ACDC directly and primarily contributes to SDGs 3, 5, 8 & 16, advancing and Well-being, , and , and Peace, Justice and .
When young people are empowered to participate, lead and influence policy and governance, we move closer to achieving the SDGs and building more inclusive and sustainable communities.

As we enter September, we enter National Suicidal prevention month, a time to remember that behind every smile, there might be a story we cannot see. It is a reminder that reaching out is not a weakness, that listening can mean more than we realize , and that no one should have to carry their struggles alone.
May we continue to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Let us be kinder with our words, gentler, with our understanding, and more present for those who may be silently struggling. Sometimes, simply been there can make a difference.
This September, let's remind one another: your story matters, your presence matters, and you matter.🤍

VICTIMS FIRST. ACTION NOW.
ACDC stands in solidarity with victims of enforced disappearances and the families who continue to seek answers. Behind every disappearance is a human being, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard.
We call for Truth, Justice, and Accountability and Action to ensure that victims and their families are never forgotten
🕊️ Remember the victims
