This morning, Shalom House was filled with magenta to celebrate the new project NOW ME! supported by Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo

Thanks to the combined expertise of Amani for Africa, Koinonia Community, AIDOS Associazione italiana donne per lo sviluppo, Comunità Nuova and storielibere.fm, the project aims to be a concrete response to gender inequality, unemployment and poverty affecting young women in Kenya every day.

Present during the event were Fabio Minniti, Director of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo - Ufficio di Nairobi along with two key representatives from the State Department for Gender: Miriam M. Muli, Assistant Director del Socio-Economic Empowerment Directorate, e Miriam Chepkurui, Program Officer del Street Families Rehabilitation Trust Fund.
