Voices of Hope Samburu educators and community program officers that dedicated to education, mentorship, and empowering vulnerable children and communities in northern Kenya.

We are actively advocating against female ge***al mutilation and child marriages in Samburu, promoting girls’ rights, education, and community awareness to protect young girls and support their future opportunities.

We have actively collaborated with partners such as Wasichana Wetu Wafaulu(WWW) through Education Development Trust(EDT), an experience that has positively influenced our professional growth and strengthened our commitment to supporting education and community development.

Despite our dedication to supporting girls in schools and within their communities, we face challenges such as cultural barriers, limited resources, and resistance that hinder consistent access to education and opportunities.

I remain dedicated to empowering and supporting girls both in school and within their communities,ensuring they access education, guidance, and opportunities to achieve their full potential.

Parents have enrolled children in school and community engagement is part and parcel of CBE.
Lkisin comprehensive school is leading the change and effective implementation of the new curriculum by supporting holistic growth of both the learners and community.

Through sharing resources like water points and land parents get food for our students. Teachers are energetic and passionate about community development initiatives.
Here we get safe spaces to discuss in depth the harmful culture practises. Doing so FGM, beading, child marriages and wife beating.
