It is an honour to see our journey continue beyond borders 🌍
We are proud to share that following our participation in the 2025 edition of the United Nations University of Tokyo Global Youth MIDORI Platform, our work through The Growth Sphere (TGS) will be featured in the GYM Poster Exhibition at the United Nations University Headquarters (Global Environment Outreach Centre) from March to April 2026.
Both Kyamoneka Mpey Benjamin and Amira Puji Hastuti, co-founders of TGS, were among 17 young leaders globally selected for GYM 2025. What began as a shared experience of navigating global opportunities without guidance has grown into a platform committed to ensuring that geography does not define destiny.
Our message is simple:
“Talent knows no borders — opportunity shouldn’t either.”
Across the Global South, brilliant young people carry vision, creativity, and solutions. Yet many remain excluded, not because of lack of ability, but because of limited access to mentorship, information, and networks.
Through TGS, we work to break that cycle by:
- Delivering leadership trainings for high school and university students
- Hosting thematic workshops on climate negotiations, human rights, and sustainable development
- Equipping youth with practical tools: essay writing, motivation letters, interview preparation, and strategic goal-setting
- Convening multi-regional dialogues translating global climate commitments into local action
In January 2026, our webinar brought together 45+ young people from Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas to discuss law, governance, health, technology, gender equality, and sustainable development, strengthening cross-regional youth networks committed to impact.
This exhibition is more than a poster on a wall in Tokyo. It is a reminder that when we invest in young people, we invest in a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
Let’s work together to ensure that opportunity is not defined by geography. Kyamoneka Mpey Benjamin
