On Tuesday the 3rd, we walked together, from Dagoretti North 56 at Riruta Hospital to the heart of Madiaba, carrying a message that has echoed through generations: that every person deserves safety, dignity and the freedom to live without fear.
In marking the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we also honored Persons with Disabilities Day, recognizing the resilience, humanit, and worth of every member of our community.
Our hope is that this message reverberates across the town, stirring reflection, courage and action. GBV cases continue to rise, an urgent reminder that silence is costly and change begins with all of us.
We are grateful to Madam Hellen, ACC Kawangware, for flagging off the march and standing with us in solidarity. May this be more than a moment. May it become a movement.
