Wazo Jipya Youth Organization A community based organization working towards a transformed community where youth, women, and children thrive in health, education and livelihoods

As we celebrate this Easter season, we encourage families to create a supportive and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow at home. Simple actions like setting aside time for reading, engaging children in storytelling, involving them in everyday problem-solving, and encouraging curiosity through questions can greatly strengthen their learning. Establishing a routine and celebrating small achievements also builds confidence and a love for learning.

At the same time, let’s prioritize our children’s health. Ensure they maintain good hygiene, eat balanced meals, stay active through play, and get enough rest. This season is also a great time to talk to children about making safe and healthy choices.

Together, we can raise a generation that is both educated and healthy.

Happy Easter from all of us at Wazo Jipya!

Today we celebrate the power, courage, and resilience of women and girls who continue to shape our communities every day.

At Wazo Jipya, we believe that empowering women is not just the right thing to do, it is the key to stronger families, thriving communities, and a better future for all. When women rise, everyone rises.

Let us continue to create spaces where women’s voices are heard, their talents recognized, and their leadership supported.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Today, we join the world in reflecting, learning, and recommitting to the fight against HIV. The latest data reminds us that HIV is still here and closer than many imagine. Counties such as Nairobi, Migori, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Busia, Siaya, Kakamega, and Nakuru continue to record some of the highest numbers of new infections. These figures are not just statistics; they represent real lives, families, and futures impacted each day.

At Wazo Jipya, we believe that awareness, honesty, and informed decision-making are powerful tools for prevention.

Safer s*xual practices save lives and protect futures.
Using condoms consistently, getting tested regularly, and having open conversations with partners are not just health choices they are life choices. They are decisions that protect your body, your relationships, and your tomorrow.

As we mark World AIDS Day 2025, we call on young people, communities, and leaders to:

✔ Prioritize safe s*x
✔ Encourage frequent HIV testing
✔ Break stigma through open dialogue
✔ Support those living with HIV with dignity and compassion
✔ Promote youth-friendly s*xual and reproductive health services

HIV is preventable, manageable, and no longer a death sentence — but only if we stay informed, stay open, and stay responsible.

Let’s rise together.
Let’s protect each other.
Let’s choose a future free from new infections.

At Wazo Jipya Youth Organization, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. Recently, our Director joined learners in a vibrant sports event organized in partnership with like-minded organizations, a powerful demonstration of our commitment to experiential learning, mentorship, and youth empowerment.

Through activities such as football, athletics, and team challenges, learners not only had fun but also developed discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience , key life skills that shape confident, well-rounded individuals.

At Easter Real School, a flagship initiative of Wazo Jipya, we continue to integrate education, talent development, and life skills creating spaces where every learner can grow, express, and thrive.

We appreciate all our partners, teachers, and learners for making these moments of growth and joy possible. Together, we are nurturing a generation that plays, learns, and leads with purpose!

Experiential Learning in Action!

In the spirit of experiential learning, the Director of Wazo Jipya Youth Organization, under the Education Program (Easter Real School), led our learners on an exciting educational tour to some of Kenya’s most iconic and influential institutions , KICC, the Supreme Court, Parliament, and Uhuru Park on 3rd October 2025.

This eye-opening experience gave our learners a rare opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world governance, history, and civic engagement. They interacted with environments that shape national decision-making and public life, inspiring them to dream bigger and think critically about their role in building a better society.

At Easter Real School, we believe that true education goes beyond the classroom it’s about nurturing curiosity, leadership, and confidence through exposure and experience.

👏 A big thank you to our dedicated teachers, the Wazo Jipya team, and our supportive parents for making this enriching experience possible. Together, we continue to shape a generation that learns, leads, and transforms communities.
