This is the day the Lord has made, and we’re rejoicing in Him!

Today, our team is out in Gatina, Kawangware, connecting with The Bucket Ministry to explore an exciting new partnership.

The Bucket Ministry does incredible work across three stations in Kawangware, equipping local households with safe water filter buckets while sharing the Gospel.
We are trying to introduce Tender Mercies to the ministry (A nutritious grain dense meal containing;rice, dehydrated beans, Soy Chunks, vitamins and minerals)

From Rickets to Running: A Story of Hope
Dr. Mary Kahama tells a truly inspiring story of how nutrition aid, over time, affects children with disabilities.
There was one child suffering from rickets, an ailment caused due to the deficiency of Vitamin D, calcium, or phosphorus. As part of our sustained cooperation with Vote for Jesus Is the Answer Ministries, this child has been eating healthy food for years now.
And today, this same child can walk. 🙌
This is the power of nutrition aid over time. This is the reason we do what we do.

This Saturday was Love Week at Elevation Church!

Kapu Africa partnered with volunteers from Elevation Church for their Love Week to bless a cancer support group called Symbol of Hope Warriors. We donated much-needed nutritious food. Our team also came together to pack, distribute, and serve — but it didn't stop there. The volunteers also spent time ministering to and encouraging the cancersurvivors, reminding them they are seen, loved, and not alone in their journey.
Food nourishes the body while love nourishes the soul. Grateful for hands and hearts willing to serve.

From 3 students to a successful institution – this is how much of an impact food can make.
Partnering with schools such as Solace Education Centre in the depths of rural Kilifi County, we needed to find out: How is food affecting your school?
The answer is always the same – more learners registered, better attendance, and healthy happy children. 📚
Solace Education Centre was started with only 3 learners in the semi-permanent structures. Today? Several class rooms, laboratories and a dining area – and their first learners have gone through 3 years of secondary education already. 🎓
Solace Education Centre is also spreading their wings through provision of clean water to their community. 💧
We look forward to seeing you all fly, Solace! 🕊️

Nutrition is about more than just a full stomach—it’s about giving children the fuel they need to grow and thrive!

Today, Midwest Food Bank East Africa and the Amina Myren The Amina Myrén Foundation are at Kiborione Primary School conducting anthropometric health assessments.

We are measuring the direct impact of our Tender Mercies meals( a grain dense vitamin and mineral rich blend of rice, beans, and soy chunks).

In one year, these assessments will provide the scientific proof of just how much these nutritious meals are transforming the health of the less privileged in our society and gauge the school performance.

What does "mission" mean to you? ❤️

Today, MidwestFood Bank East Africa Division (KAPU Africa)was truly humbled by the incredible work being done by LVCC and Life Song for Orphans.

We had the privilege of visiting Utegi and Shirati in Tanzania, where we were warmly hosted by the PEFA Church.Definitely struggled a bit with my Swahili, the connection we made was absolutely worth it!

We hosted a cook out session using our nutritious products, Tender Mercies and Unimix, bringing everyone together over a good meal.

Seeing these two organizations provide essential, basic needs for orphans and widows really made us think,isn't that the ultimate goal of humanity?

It was a beautiful day of impact at Buduma Girls Secondary School in Busia County!

We are thrilled to share that The Amina Myrén Foundation partnered with MidwestFood Bank East Africa (KAPU Africa)to distribute hygiene packs (sanitary pads) to 400 amazing girls.
The day was filled with learning and empowerment, kicking off with an inspiring health talk before the distribution.
