Meet Uno.
We rescued this malnourished girl last week who could barely even walk or stand up. Her eye had been gorged out hence the name uno. The first images i took of her were so traumatizing as she was mere skin and bones and looked like she would was dying any minute. This is her today, she is walking around, eating very well and has stabilised. She has pyometra( uterus infection) and had to be spayed today as its life threatening. She still needs some few weeks to heal and be stable enough to be fostered/adopted. She is such a gentle bug despite her big structure and we hope someone will fall in love with her like we have.

RESCUE STORY UPDATE
Rasta is still at the vet receiving treatment. His fungal wounds are visibly healing and no longer as black as before. He was so itchy and scratching himself but he is getting more relief as days go by. He will still continue with his treatment plan until he is all healed.

SUCCESSFUL RESCUE STORY.
Remember this fluffy cutie pie who was hit by a car and then attacked by dogs. He has been in recovery mode the entire time at our shelter and this are his most recent photos all recovered and eargerly waiting for his forever home. His name is Jonjon, he is neutered and loves running around so much, his ideal home should be a home with a compound. He is a very friendly guy and very loyal. Meet Rasta.
Our latest dog Rescue. He has severe fungal infection that has spread allover his body making it black. He is also very malnourished and could barely run away since he had no energy. We found him in our neighbouring market and took him for treatment and he is currently at the vet.

STORY UPDATE ON THE LACERATED DOG.

Wh**ey has been receiving treatment and recovering at the vet since we rescued him. His wounds have healed so nicely and he is ready to go home. The guy who cut him has not come back to the area so he still remains free for now. Urging people to be vigilant and report animals cruelty, its hard i know, many are the times police officers laugh at me when i say i am reporting a dog or cat who was harmed, they shrug it off but the constitution of kenya recognizes animal cruelty as an offence. People need to start standing up for this voiceless animals, if more an more people are arrested cruelty cases might reduce. Wh**ey deserves justice. He is around 8years old and looming for his forever home. He has a good temparament and is good with other dogs. You can foster, virtually adopt or give him a home. Please reach out to 0797679178.

STORY UPDATE ON THE DOGS WE WANTED TO RESCUE🥺🥺
A wild dog came into where the 16 dogs were and killed 2 puppies 💔😓and left 2 injured. We took the two to the vet but one passed on today💔 and one is really sick. The dog came again quite a few times but people managed to chase it. The pups were heavily infested with ticks and fleas and worms it was really heartbreaking to watch them restless. Someone offered to take all the remaining dogs to save them but he doesnt have kennels so we have to build them. Meanwhile, a kind lady took the mum and pups but the agreement was she cant foster for more than 10 days. The other mum(got spayed but has babesia) and her pup(very sick) and the old dog ( has arthritis). We are currently working on how to get the remaining 12 dogs kennels set up and move them in 9 days. Puppies will be ready for adoption in 5 weeks and the old guy needs a relaxing home. Please reach out to us on 0797679178 if you would like to adopt or foster or for more information

A glimpse of what we see in rescue work. Imagine how much pain you feel when you get a small cut on your finger, compare that to the countless wounds this dog has, very deep, very sensitive, and had to be sedated clwan this wounds. He had lived a few days like this before a kind lady gave us a call. She hosted him for the night and we were able to get him on wednesday morning. This is a sensitive case but the person who witnessed this is trying to help us identify the one who did this we want to have him face justice. The dog is being stitched up today as some wounds had to be sterile before being stitched. He is safe with us but we are requesting your help to help this boy.

In a day, we are receiving 5-8calls daily to take in animals in all situations. Currently because of our space/ capacity intake, we can only keep 70 animals at ago and we have 74 animals.Our stray feeding program has 64 animals now as well. Its really heartbreaking and we have only been taking emergency cases, but all that are coming are emergencies. Rejecting all this animals daily is hard but you can only pour in as much as you have, we dont have space or extra resources to cover this cases. This dogs are in need, the old one has arthritis and needs a home, both mamas need somewhere to raise their pups, the owner left them and one neighbour has been killing one puppy at a time(according to the reporter).
If you can donate a piece of land to us( long shot but worth asking at this point) we can keep all the needy animals.
