We had the distinct honour of hosting the President of Sierra Leone’s Wildlife Conservation, Mr. Charles Shower, for an inspiring two-hour birding walk through the serene trails of Karura Forest.

It was a fantastic walk filled with exceptional sightings, including the striking Green Malkoha, the vibrant Green-backed Twinspot, graceful African Paradise Flycatchers, lively Wagtails, and a variety of waterbirds.

Sharing Kenya’s rich natural heritage with international conservation leaders is at the heart of what we do. A huge thank you to Mr. Shower for spending his morning in the forest with us!
