At the Limitless Luminary Award held on April 26th, something powerful happened.
When Josephine Mwende Kamene, our incredible second-place honoree, was called to give her speech, she gently asked for a chair. It was more than just a gesture—it was a statement. A request for space. A declaration that said: “Let me show up as I am.”
And that’s what inclusivity looks like.
Let us remember: People living with disabilities aren’t asking for pity. They’re asking for room. Room to try, to learn, to experiment, to contribute meaningfully to society and the economy.
“Let us speak. All we are asking for is space to be who we are. To express ourselves fully, to try until we are able to do, to take up space in the economy and contribute to it. We are capable, abled differently, and can deliver results!”
Let’s be the generation that listens, that makes room, and that stands up—for everyone.
