HOPE for Quality Basic Education for All (HOPE-EDU): This $500 million program aims to improve foundational literacy and numeracy, increase basic education access, and strengthen education systems across Nigerian states. It specifically targets improving learning for students through a Structured Pedagogy Program (SPP) involving better teaching materials and teacher training.
HOPE-Governance (HOPE-GOV): This initiative focuses on strengthening governance to deliver better human capital outcomes in education and health. It encourages reforms in state-level public financing and management to enhance public service delivery.
Primary Healthcare Provision Strengthening (HOPE-PHC): Linked with the Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative, this aims to improve the utilization of quality health services, especially for women and children.
Key Focus Areas: The HOPE projects aim to address the critical need for improving basic education and primary health services, ensuring that Nigerians can better achieve their productive potential.
