Last Monday was a significant day for St. Charles Lwanga Boystown–Ruai! 🙌

We welcomed Archbishop Philip Anyolo, board members, and friends from the Eudist Congregation for the launch and blessing of our new construction project.

🏗️ New classrooms, dormitories, a dining hall, and a kitchen will soon become a reality!

Today we celebrated a milestone in our mission — the start of construction for new classrooms, dormitories, a dining hall, and a kitchen. These spaces will allow our boys to learn, live, and grow in a safe and inspiring environment. 🌱

We were deeply honored to welcome Archbishop Philip Anyolo, who blessed the project and reminded us that education is one of the greatest gifts we can offer to the next generation. 🙏

✨ Our Story ✨

What started in 1992 as a simple act of compassion has grown into a mission of hope. ❤️ When David & Florence Niermeyer visited Nairobi for their 25th anniversary, they met children begging on the streets. Moved by what they saw, they began with a small feeding program… and soon founded Boystown Africa. 🏡

Officially founded in 1994, today, with the support of the Archdiocese of Nairobi, the Eudist Fathers, and kind well-wishers, the home continues to provide care, education, and opportunities for boys who once lived on the streets. 🙌

From 91 boys today, with space for even more if resources allow, we keep working to give every child the chance to dream and thrive. 🌍✨
