Hey, y'all, hope you had a great weekend. The feeding program went well. We fed over 250 VIPs. We served porridge and bread for breakfast and rice beans and vegetables for lunch. A Day of Love, Service, and Overflowing Grace
Yesterday was nothing short of divine. We witnessed *God’s love in action* as great men and women of God from and came together to serve, love, and uplift our VIPs (the street families.)
💛 Over 450 lives touched
🥣 Hot breakfast served: porridge & bread
🍛 Delicious lunch: rice, beans & over 1,000 chapatis
🙌 More than 300 individuals reached celebrating mens mental health month alone
The joy was contagious. Hearts were full. Bellies were filled. But more than anything hope was restored.
To every hand that gave, every foot that showed up, and every heart that prayed THANK YOU. You made this mission possible.
Let’s continue being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Let’s continue giving hope, one meal at a time. ❤️

Kenya is facing a worsening hunger crisis, with around 2.8 million people projected to experience acute food insecurity by mid-2026, particularly in arid counties like Turkana, Garissa, and Wajir. This crisis is driven by prolonged droughts due to climate change, rising food prices, economic instability, and conflict-related displacement. Vulnerable groups, especially children and pregnant women, are suffering from high levels of malnutrition. In response, the Kenyan government and humanitarian partners launched a \$5 billion Food and Nutrition Resilience Program to provide aid and build long-term food security. Grassroots efforts, such as urban farming initiatives, are also helping address immediate needs while promoting sustainable solutions.

Every Saturday we are in mathare mlango kubwa giving back to the community. We share breakfast and lunch with the less fortunate. Our VIPs are always filled with joy to have us around. During this rainy season it's been a difficult time for them trying to get something to eat and sleeping in the cold. We do the best we can to make their lives bearable.
