Young people in informal settlements are transforming their futures through skills training, entrepreneurship, and mentorship programmes supported by YSW. From photography to business development, many youth are now earning livelihoods, reducing their vulnerability to crime and drug abuse, and becoming agents of change in their communities.

Through our 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, we are expanding opportunities for youth leadership, economic empowerment, gender equality, and access to health information and services—placing young people at the centre of sustainable development.

Menstruation should never be a barrier to education, health, or opportunity. Let’s break the silence, challenge stigma, and create safe, supportive spaces where every girl can thrive—on every day of the month.
Because a means dignity, access, and confidence for all.
