Waziri Organization expresses its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Cecil Ouma following his tragic and untimely death. We stand in solidarity with all those mourning this painful loss and pray that God grants them strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult period.
We have taken note of the public statement issued by Fikirini Jacobs conveying his condolences and affirming his commitment to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigations. While many individuals may hold different views regarding this unfortunate incident, we believe it is both prudent and responsible to allow the investigative process to take its course before drawing conclusions.
As an organization committed to youth empowerment, leadership, peacebuilding, and the protection of human dignity, we firmly believe that every human life is sacred. Situations involving conflict or public disorder should, wherever possible, be managed in ways that preserve life. The loss of any young person is a tragedy that should concern every Kenyan.
We therefore call upon all relevant investigative agencies to conduct thorough, independent, transparent, and professional investigations free from any form of interference or external influence. The truth must be established, accountability upheld where necessary, and justice delivered in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Kenya.
We also urge the public, leaders, and all stakeholders to remain calm, avoid speculation, and refrain from actions or statements that may prejudice the investigations or heighten tensions. Our nation is strongest when we uphold the rule of law, respect due process, and work together to promote peace and unity.
