Join us on 19th September 2026 as we empower 200 girls from Sh*techia & Shikumu Primary Schools with menstrual-health education, sanitary pads, and peer support.

MADARAKA DAY MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT – FLA-KENYA

Dear Members of FLA-Kenya,

As we celebrate this year’s Madaraka Day, I extend my warmest wishes to all our members, partners, volunteers, and supporters across Kenya and beyond.

Madaraka Day reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who envisioned a free, united, and progressive nation. As young leaders, we carry the responsibility of shaping the next chapter of Kenya through integrity, innovation, service, and active participation in leadership and governance.

At FLA-Kenya, this season also marks an important phase of restructuring, rebuilding, and repositioning our organization for greater impact. We are actively strengthening our structures, re-engaging members across counties, and laying a stronger foundation that will empower more youth voices and leadership opportunities nationwide.

As part of this rebuilding journey, we are excited about the upcoming County Meetups that will bring together young leaders from different regions to reconnect, share ideas, and help shape the future direction of our movement. These engagements will play a critical role in restoring momentum and building a stronger, more united FLA-Kenya.

Let this Madaraka Day inspire us to rise above division, embrace unity of purpose, and commit ourselves to building a better Kenya for future generations.
