Youth leadership is not a title you're given.
It's a responsibility you grow into.
In this episode, we sit with Simon W Brian - Youth Representative, Ys Men International - as he traces his journey from participant to leader and unpacks what it truly means when young people stop waiting for a seat at the table and start shaping the table itself.
From the corridors of the YMCA movement to the frontlines of youth advocacy in Kenya, Brian speaks to how organisations like Young Men's Christian Association-YMCA Kenya are not just building young leaders - they are building the very systems those leaders will one day influence. Because real empowerment does not stop at personal growth; it reaches back and transforms communities.
