(founded in 2008 and based in Washington, D.C. USA) The organization is registered in Kenya as Elevate International, Kenya. Elevate is a Christian-based organization, built on the command found in 1John 3:18 to “not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth”. Our mandate is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by showing the Love of Jesus Christ and our aim is to inspire and connec
t individuals and groups through innovative initiatives that provide emerging communities and under-served people groups with opportunities, education, funding and enablement. In the States, we have partnered with various Church, non-profit and missionary organizations to provide funding, leadership and direction via homeless ministries, drug awareness programs, community service initiatives, international missions trips and other sports-related programs. In East Africa, we have been blessed to have the Lord work through us in various projects. Included in these are:
• In Ethiopia,
- Rebuilding a community school, build a clean water facility and provide students with new school uniforms and supplies.
• In Kenya,
- Rebuilding a community center in Kangemi,
- Redesigning install and re-launch a cyber café and computer education lab in Nakuru.
- Awarding a deserving volunteer from Kibera with a college scholarship and providing employment placement services. He is currently working full-time at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
- Granting micro loans to deserving youth entrepreneurs who wish to start small businesses. Our programs are designed to:
• Encourage community advancement.
• Promote service to others.
• Empower disadvantaged populations.
• Utilize self-sustaining and self-help strategies
• Support grassroots community development organization and projects
• Provide economic and educational opportunities to those living in extreme poverty. Target population
• We do target Primary and Secondary schools, Churches and Children Homes.
