Wema Community-Based Organization continues to promote economic empowerment for women and girls by providing practical livelihood skills and entrepreneurship opportunities. Through partnerships with other organizations, women are trained in soap making, tailoring, organic oil production, and other income-generating activities that help them start small businesses and improve household livelihoods.

These initiatives strengthen confidence, financial independence, and resilience, enabling women and girls to actively contribute to the development of their families and communities.

At WEMA Community-Based Organization, we are committed to protecting every child from harm. Through our GBV prevention and SRHR education programs, we’re building a safer, informed, and empowered generation of girls.
We teach girls to:
âś… Know their rights and report abuse
âś… Say NO to sexual exploitation in exchange for basic needs
âś… Build self-confidence and leadership skills
âś… Access dignity kits and essential SRHR information
No girl should have to trade her body for sanitary pads. Period poverty is real — and we’re saying enough is enough. 💪🏽
Let’s empower our girls with knowledge, support, and resources — so they grow up strong, safe, and unstoppable.
