Indeed GAZA has tested the limits of UN influence. The next Secretary General or simply "Scape Goat" as Kofi Annan use to refer to the post must be one not just of great knowledge and fluency/eloquence, but also one who is steal from the insit.

The role of diplomats have fundamentally shifted from managing stable, long-term relationships to operating in a continuous crisis mode, a phenomenon often termed the "polycrisis."

Geopolitical conflicts, climate disasters, pandemics, and economic instability- do not occur in isolation but compound and accelerate one another.

Today's diplomat must be an all rounded character with deeper understanding of international issues.
