What.a.week! The Waymaker.Church outreach team has had an incredible week in the Dominican Republic with Jorge and his coaches. They have spent the past few days assisting with creating a much needed dug out space, playing baseball with the community, and sharing the Gospel. We are grateful! Let’s continue in prayer as they serve for a few more days!

On the field, we teach young men and women about technical and tactical skills to help them become stronger players. Those connections lead to powerful opportunities to disciple and mentor young people in the word of God and a life of faith!

But it’s not just the kids we connect with. No, the ministry extends beyond to their families with home visits and community connections!

Families serving the Lord together is such a gift! We have witnessed that first hand the past few days as multiple families from Santa Barbara Community Church joined together for a trip to the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴!

🙌🏼 On Monday, we launched our first EVER outreach trip to our Brazil mission site! Led by Board Member Gui Peres, this team is getting a first hand experience with the power and impact of combining the Gospel with soccer training. 🇧🇷

Today, they are going to compete on the soccer field with the young, Brazilian players. Wish them luck 🍀!

The M4M (Mountains for Medicine) Trip Team has been cycling and serving across Kenya! Over the past four days, our cyclists have ridden through cold and hot temperatures, climbed high elevations, descended into valleys, and overcome challenges together as one team. Meanwhile, our ministry team has been serving alongside our Sports Outreach team members at various ministry sites, sharing the hope of the Gospel and encouraging local communities.

We are incredibly grateful for the collective impact, support, and encouragement of everyone involved in this journey. Thank you for being part of restoring hope and transforming lives!

The M4M (Mountains for Medicine) Trip Team has officially departed from the U.S. and is en route to Kenya!

This team is made up of employees, family members, and friends of who have come together for a unique journey of ministry and endurance. Over the coming days, some will serve alongside our ministries in Kenya, while other team members will be cycling 503 miles to raise awareness and support for the Nia Davenport Medical Centers in Uganda.

We would appreciate your continued prayers for safe travels, good health, and a time of rest and preparation as the team gets ready for the journey ahead.
