You’d have no idea what was coming.

That’s transformation.

Not everything beautiful is visible at the beginning. Some things need time, patience and the right space to unfold.

This week, we’re choosing to believe in what is still becoming.

We were delighted to welcome Lydia Women Group from CITAM Kangundo Road to Wings of Hope Rescue Home.
As part of their CSR efforts, the group visited us and generously donated in support of the girls, young mothers and children under our care.
We truly appreciate their generosity, their time, and their willingness to stand with our work.

What does NURTURE mean to you?
For many, nurture means to care for, support, protect and help someone grow.
Here, nurture takes on an even deeper meaning.
Today, we welcomed a new little life after one of the teenage mothers in our care gave birth. 👶🏾💜 This beautiful moment reminded us that caring for a baby also means caring for the young mother bringing that baby into the world.
For us, nurturing means providing a safe space where young mothers can receive care, support, counselling and opportunities to learn and build toward a better future.
It means being there through the small moments, the difficult moments and the hopeful ones.
Because every baby deserves care, and every young mother deserves the support to grow and thrive.
This Wednesday, our word is NURTURE.

Beadwork teaches us something simple but powerful: beautiful things take time to create.
