After a productive staff retreat, we had to celebrate the incredible response to our Double the Impact Campaign and the only way we know how to is with laughter, good vibes, and a little Your Ed Once Said challenge! 🤣💃🏾

The response to Double the Impact has been incredible. In just the last few days, $9,500 has already been raised toward our $34,000 matching challenge.
That means we’re now $24,500 away from unlocking the full match.
An anonymous donor family has committed $34,000 to match every dollar raised and the opportunity to double the impact of every contribution is still open.

Today, we launch Double the Impact- a campaign rooted in one powerful belief: when we invest in young people, we invest in possibilities far beyond today.
We are building KNLA 360, an expanded learning and opportunity hub designed to give young people access to leadership skills, technical skills, real-world experience, and recognized credentials which will allow them to move from secondary school into meaningful work, enterprise, or further learning.
And today, an anonymous donor family has made an incredible commitment: They will match every dollar raised, dollar for dollar, up to $34,000, pledging to match every dollar raised, dollar for dollar.

Over the past weeks, we had the privilege of reconnecting with alumni from Cohorts 1–4 (2022–2025). Their journeys offer powerful confirmation of our mission: when empowered to pursue their passions, students do not merely succeed they thrive.

Higher Education & Skill Building:Our alumni are expanding their knowledge in universities and institutes nationwide, pursuing degrees in Law, Public Health, Software Engineering, Journalism, Criminology, and Mechanical Engineering.

In the Workforce: From tech institutes and customer care to hospitality, logistics, and medical labs, our graduates bring value to the workplace every single day.

Entrepreneurship & Creative Growth: Beyond employment, many are carving out unique paths running businesses in food production, digital content creation, dance training, video production, and local trade.

True to our roots, alumni are giving back as community development officers, sports coaches, youth mentors, and project leaders.
