Over the weekend, we organized a Mental Health Awareness Event as part of our ongoing programs. The session created a safe space for young people and community members to openly discuss mental health, share experiences, and emphasize the importance of seeking support.

The initiative aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health while promoting understanding, support, and well-being among young people. Through such programs, the alliance continues to champion awareness and encourage a community that values both mental and emotional health. 💚

Members of the Onagi Comrades and Youths Alliance participated in the Crime Doesn’t Pay Awareness Concert and Street Feeding Event in Kisumu County,a community initiative aimed at sensitizing young people on the importance of choosing a responsible and productive path in life.

The activity, led by the Kisumu County Onagi Comrades Alliance - OCA Coordinator alongside the Deputy County Coordinator, Lé Tréçïdá brought together youths and community members to promote the message that crime is not the solution to life’s challenges. Through music, mentorship, and acts of kindness such as street feeding, the event offered both encouragement and practical support to those in need.
