As a result of violence, street children often struggle to trust adults and form meaningful relationships. Despite this hardship, many street children demonstrate resilience to life on the

street and adopt survival strategies to survive. For instance, some street children form groups as a form of protection and support network. These groups, although commonly seen as gangs, demonstrate street children’s ability to cope with the challenges of life on the street together.
