Sports Day was full of proud moments.
Some children ran their first race. Others took part in a group activity for the first time. Teachers and staff joined in too, cheering, playing, and competing alongside the children.
Four teams maroon, lilac, blue, and pink, brought their energy and team spirit to every activity.
It wasn't about who came first, it was about who showed up and tried.

Long before a child can sit still and focus, they must first learn to balance, coordinate, and control their own body. This is not incidental to early education ,it is part of their development process.
Movement is not a break from learning , it is the architecture of it.Every hop, throw, and game of tag activates neural pathways that underpin memory, attention, and self-regulation, laying the groundwork for the academic skills that follow.

At Little Rock physical education is designed with this science in mind. Structured play builds gross and fine motor skills. Team games cultivate cooperation, patience, and emotional regulation. And the simple act of trying, failing, and trying again builds a resilience that no worksheet can teach.

We don't separate the body from the mind — because at this age, they are inseparable.

According to UNESCO 1 in 10 girls in Africa miss school during their menstrual cycle due to period poverty and stigma.
Yesterday ,our girls had the incredible opportunity to learn about menstruation and proper sanitary hygiene, thanks to the amazing team at Mama Kenya Community 4 Communities .
Watching our girls learn to embrace this natural part of growing up with confidence instead of confusion, and knowledge instead of silence was truly beautiful to witness.
To Mama Kenya: thank you for investing in our girls, for breaking the silence around periods, and for reminding them that their bodies are nothing to be ashamed of.

A few weeks ago, at the ECD Conference in Sandton, South Africa, our Director, Tr Lilly, stood before a room of over 150 participants from 16 countries and shared something deeply personal: the journey of learning to let go.

For founders, the work is never just a job ,it's a vision carried in the heart, built with sacrifice, prayer, and consistency. Tr Lilly spoke candidly about the fear that once came with stepping back, and the shift that followed:

"Sustainability is not about holding control , it is about building continuity."

Supported by Masana wa Afrika and joined by fellow ECD leaders across the region, this gathering was more than a conference. It was a platform for collaboration, learning, and a shared reminder that THE OUTCOME IS THE CHILD.
