The Light and Hope Center in Korogocho is CLOSED.
The reason? NO WATER.
Vulnerable children with disabilities have been sent home, losing access to critical education, therapy, and safety.
This is not just a water issue ,it's a future and human rights issue. They deserve clean water. They deserve a chance.

We were honored to provide some essential care and support yesterday at the center. We organized a special grooming session where 21 boys had their hair shaved, ensuring they look and feel their best for school .A huge thanks to the volunteers ,their time and skills.

In addition, we were able to provide 10 girls with essential sanitary towels, ensuring they can maintain their hygiene and dignity with confidence.
These small acts are part of our commitment to supporting the overall well-being and development of the youth in our community. Seeing the smiles and appreciation made every moment worth it.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to our donors, volunteers, and the community members who support our work. Together, we are making a difference.

Today, 2nd March 2026, we proudly launched the 'Peaceful Ward' Initiative.
We are empowering women at the village level to strengthen local democracy by preventing election conflict through diplomacy and dialogue.
What We Achieved:
✓ Launched the Women’s Peace Council: Women representatives from across the ward are ready to lead community mediation.

✓Fostered Unity: Our first "Peace Circles" showed that despite political differences, every woman wants water, clinics, and good schools. These shared needs unite us.

✓Committed to Youth: Mothers and elders pledged to engage with local youth to discourage violence.

Our goal ~Reduced tensions, increased voter turnout, and lasting stability. When women lead, the entire community wins!
