Mr Daniel Moss, Manager โ Government, Legal & Industry Affairs, participated in a Fireside Talk at the 17th Leiden IIASL International Air Law Conference held at Windhoek Country Club Resort, Namibia, on 16 April 2026. The session was moderated by Mia Wouters (GDS Advocaten).
The discussion explored key challenges facing Africaโs airline industry, including the role of the Cape Town Convention in fleet modernisation, the use of technology as a pathway towards decarbonisation and net-zero emissions, and the use of AI.
Mr Moss also served as a judge at the 17th LeidenโSarin International Air Law Moot Court Competition โ Windhoek 2026, which was hosted in Africa for the first time by the University of Namibia. The competition featured strong African representation from the UniversityofNamibia (Namibia), Strathmore University (Kenya), and Makerere University (Uganda).
