miTAAni X is an organization that seeks to empower children, youths and women living in the streets through art with its innate power of healing and growth; and to provide access and linkage to a continuum of care through a Child’s Rights Approach. We want to involve Kenyans in the ability to help street children who are now stand alone, looking for a solution. Together with people’s support we ca
n give them a promising future. We will help create awareness on the daily problems of street children Nairobi. These children have no safe place to sleep and are often the victims of violence, r**e, so**my, drug addiction, arrest and kidnapping. Because of poverty children are often exploited by some of the people in the streets (touts and soldiers). We would like to help these kids structurally and give them a promising future by specifying the needs of street children in Nairobi and how we can help them live in a loving family with a future and dreams that can be realized. These children deserve the same opportunities as every other Kid.
