The Kenya China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCCI), led by CEO Dr. Blak Aende, together with Mr. Harbin Zhao and Ms. Damaris Karanja, today paid a courtesy visit to the Kenya Women and Children's Wellness Centre (KWCWC), where we were warmly received by Madam Deloris Jordan, Founder and President of the James R. Jordan Foundation and KWCWC.
Our engagement focused on understanding the Centre's inspiring journey, its tremendous impact on women and children across Kenya, and exploring areas of collaboration between our two organizations.
We toured the Centre's impressive facilities, including its rescue centre, outpatient medical services, conference and events spaces, counseling facilities, and rehabilitation programs. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to listen to the stories of survivors whose courage and resilience left a lasting impression on us.
Speaking during the visit, Dr. Blak Aende commended Madam Deloris Jordan and her team for quietly building one of the most impactful humanitarian institutions in Kenya and called upon corporates, development partners, and well-wishers to support the Centre's vision.
KCCCI remains committed to promoting not only trade and investment but also social transformation through meaningful partnerships that uplift lives and strengthen communities.
We thank Madam Deloris Jordan, Ms. Iren Atim, the medical team, caregivers, and all staff members for the incredible work they continue to do every day.
Together, we can create a future where every woman and child lives in safety, dignity, and hope.
